The Smart Economy section consists of projects and activities tied to all those innovative processes which rely on technologies that support economic activities, such as virtualization and automation of supply chains and of wide-ranging business processes, productivity, research and development, international relations, and sharing economy.
The survey carried out in Prato identified 6 projects and 3 initiatives which, while not directly generated in the context of Smart Economy, have achieved significant results in this sector. They are all managed by investee companies and they involve research and development activities in the environmental sector.
